Our Chapter has passed almost €400,000 in the past 12 months, and over €21,000,000 worth of business since the we started back in 1999!
BNI members, on average, increase their business 20% the first year. Our chapter is a dynamic, committed group of business people who know how to successfully refer business opportunities to each other.
Come for our meeting — stay for the referrals!!!
We have open categories for individuals who will bring enthusiasm and integrity to our meeting. Just one person per professional specialty is allowed in each chapter. Search our members here to see if your category is open, then visit a meeting and lock out your competition!
BNI – Ireland’s Leading Business Networking and Referral Organisation
Looking to grow your Business?
Your business can grow faster than you can imagine.
Why?
Becoming part of BNI Ireland the largest referral network in the country, and in particular the Killarney Chapter, is proven to be the best and most cost effective way to get more clients and grow your business through referrals.
Where?
The BNI Killarney Chapter currently has a wide variety of business categories, and at this time of business and economic growth we are looking to expand our membership with a number of business categories currently open for applications.
Since the Killarney Chapter started back in November 1999, its members have generated over €15 Million of business transacted between our members. Would you like a share in this business?
How?
BNI is not like other networking meetings where it is up to you to introduce yourself to strangers and attempt to sell your business and in a room with some of your competitors. Everyone is personally welcomed and introduced and given a dedicated opportunity to talk about their business.
BNI only permits one person per profession to join.
The philosophy of BNI is Givers Gain®, BNI’s core strength, is the structured approach to giving and gaining referrals. Each week our members bring genuine opportunities for work (or “referrals”) for each other.
Our members are the best sales team you’ll ever have.
When?
The best way to understand the BNI approach is to experience it for yourself. Why not visit a chapter this week and experience it for yourself. If you are interested in attending, please contact us and we will arrange a visit to a morning meeting. We now meet in person on the first and third Thursday of every month in the morning at the Centerpoint Training Centre in the 4Park Business Centre in Farranfore from 7am to 8.30am, and then have online meetings every other Thursday morning in the month on Zoom from 7.00am to 8.30am. Open networking before all meetings takes place from 6.30am to 7am and gives people a chance to chat and have discussions before the meeting itself. We also sit down to enjoy breakfast at The Warehouse Cafe after in person meetings, for additional open networking, if members & visitors wish to stay on.
Please contact Tony Dunne on 086 820 2832 or email tdunne@kingdommedia.ie for more details.

Sound advice from our member Sherry O'Callaghan of O Callaghan Town & Country Real Estate. For more great advice on buying or selling a house be sure to give her a follow and get in touch!Repeat after me: Get your pre approval 1st! Do not go house hunting unless you’ve A.) spoken to a reputable real estate agent (AKA ME 😆) & B.) Get a referral to a great mortgage contact. I have the full scoop on all the lenders & I’m not afraid to share it! Haha! Avoid the disappointment of losing out on a property you love because you’re not ready- that just happened to a couple last week & it made me so sad; there was nothing I could do as others came forward who were fully prepared. #alwaysbeprepared #beprepared #firsttimehomebuyers #buyingahome #realestateadvice #wednesdaywisdom #irishrealestate #mortgagepreapproval #ocallaghantownandcountryrealestate #weknowrealestate #wesellhomes 🏡 🏘️ 🏠 ... Why should you consider joining your local BNI chapter?
1./ It helps sharpen your business skills. Not everybody joins BNI purely to generate sales. Some join to improve business skills and gain valuable knowledge from other business owners big and small.
2./ Success is in the hands of members. A business network grows exponentially with every addition; each new member has their own network which they can refer for business. That said, some chapters will be more successful than others. Our own chapter, for example, does very well because there is big mix of business sizes and a great mix and men and women.
Another reason why success is based on members is that certain industries complement each other. In our chapter, we have several businesses that may often, when working, require the services of others in the group.
3./ It’s an international network. BNI has thousands of chapters all over the globe. As a BNI member, you can visit other BNI chapters in your community or other geographic region. It’s an excellent way to expand your network wherever you are.
4./ The figures!
In the UK & Ireland ALONE BNI saw:
683,000 referrals passed in the last 12 months
520 million Thank You For The Business (for sales generated through referrals) given
Impressed? The figures are actually much higher when you consider the fact that not everyone logs their referrals and thank yous. What’s more, one referral today could lead to multiple sales and introductions later down the line.
5./ It costs money!
This 5th point isn’t a mistake – the membership fee is actually a good thing. When you host any event for free, all sorts of people will show up. This will include those serious about doing business, but also a lot of jokers who are not serious, have no money, or are just looking to plug their business. Over time, the presence of jokers brings the quality of membership down. It’s the same idea with Facebook or a public park — when something is free, it attracts a lot of freeloaders and flakes. Fees filter those people out, plain and simple.
